Easily plug this custom harness into your towed car to get the turn and brake signals you need for flat towing. Unlike other kits out there, this harness protects your vehicle from electrical feedback without you needing to splice in extra diodes.
When you're towing a car behind your motorhome, you'll need a way to get the tail, brake, and turn signals from your RV to the car to be safe and legal. This kit plugs into factory ports on your vehicle so your car can display the electrical signals coming from your motorhome. That way everyone on the road knows what your rig is up to as you tow.
This is a completely plug-and-play option for your vehicle, so the installation of this kit will be quick and easy.
While this kit has everything you need to get your towed car wired and ready, you'll still need some gear to get moving. To connect to your RV's electrical, you'll need an umbilical, and you'll need to make sure the plugs on that cord match the ones on your RV as well as the 4-way that's now on your car. If your RV has a 7-way, C57271 is a great option.
Something else to think about is whether or not you need a brake light relay. If your car's brake lights illuminate when the engine is off, you'll need to install a relay (RM-88400 - sold separately) to make sure the brake signal overrides the turn signal sent by your RV when you're slowing down to turn while towing.
And of course, there are a ton of other parts and accessories that will make towing your vehicle easy. Feel free to shop around our site or drop us a line if you have any questions. And once you get all set up, don't forget to send us a review full of pictures so we can see your rig out on the open road!

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Blue Ox easy light tow bar wiring kit for the Chevrolet Trucks. Now this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2021 to 2022 Chevrolet Suburban trucks and the Tahoe SUV vehicles. And on the custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now basically when you're towing a vehicle behind your motor home, you're gonna need a way to get the tail brake and turn signals from your RV to that vehicle to be safe and legal. This kit here is designed to plug into your factory connectors on your vehicle to connect the electrical signals from that motor home to the vehicle.
It is a complete plug-and-play option for your vehicle, so the installation of the kit is very quick and easy, and it is a complete kit, it does include all the hardware and installation components you need, including detailed instructions. Everything on the table is included. It does include the converter box right here, that comes with the connectors attached, and the length of four-way wiring. Right here, it comes with the four-way flat mounting bracket with hardware. So when your four-way gets run to the front of your vehicle, instead of just hanging there, it has a bracket that it can attach to to keep it in place.
Also comes with this four-way dust cover that you can put on the four-way. And when you're not using it, you can cover it to protect the terminals from any damage or from the elements. Comes with a little packet of terminal grease to put on all your electrical connections. Comes with some cable ties to take up any slack in the wiring. Also comes with this grounding screw.
And what that's for is if you look at the four-way right here, you have a white wire, an extra white wire here with an eyelet on it. That's to connect to a good clean ground if there's one nearby. If there isn't, you can use the included grounding screw to make a ground for that. Now the installation is very simple and easy to install. All you have to do is go to the rear of your vehicle and which you'll start on the driver's side.
And you'll take the connector here that has the yellow wire in it, and this will plug into the tail lights behind the driver's side. Once that's all plugged in, you'll run this length of wire with the green wire in it, that's for the passenger side. Run this over to the passenger side, plug this in behind the taillights on the passenger side, and then you'll take this length of the four-way wiring, run it all the way to the front of the vehicle. And once you get to the front of the vehicle, again, you'll make your ground with your grounding screw and then you'll take your mounting bracket, install it and that holds your four-way in place. As we mentioned, always use your terminal grease on all your electrical connections. And then again, if you have any length, need to take up any length of wiring, they give you these extra cable ties for that. Now also, always remember if you have any questions regarding this product or any of our products, please don't hesitate to contact us via phone, chat or email or if you've purchased any product from us, please send us pictures of it used in your application 'cause we'd like to see how the product is working out for you. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Blue Ox easy light tow bar wiring kit for the Chevrolet Trucks.
